wow. devotion today was interesting. the title is "worship with warts". basically it was about not being afraid to confess your sins publicly, because Jesus' opinion is all you should care about. i took it another way though.



for those not in the know, i am currently suffering from two disgusting warts. well actually, one is big and disgusting, the other is tiny and quite unnoticeable. but still, the big one has been around for really long, about 6 months. it's all due to my tendency to be stoic and just bear with it, especially cos i didnt think it was anything to worry about. so i only told my parents about this alien thing on my foot when it started affecting the way i walk without shoes on.



so i read today's devotion in a different way. the way i see it, no matter what you're afflicted with, be it warts, in the physical sense, or too much work stressing you out, in the emotional sense, you've got to learn to give thanks to God in all circumstances and give Him all the glory. just like Job! he lost literally everything in just a single day, his family, health and all, but yet he refused to curse God for his lot. that's truly admirable.



on a random note, this caught my eye.







when Jesus died on the cross, it is done. and for us, and so, it begins. =D
