a few weeks earlier, the deputy principal made us stand for really long on the tracks listening to a citation of the various most recent scams to hit Singapore. one that i remembered was this random lady claiming to be from PUB who wants to check your water supply. when you let her in to check, she claims you've got a leaky pipe or something and asks for money to repair it.

but this one from an email gets the prize.
