sat was the second round of m1 tournament for the year!

in the prelimary rounds:

drew with bukit batok SECONDARY 0 - 0
drew with njc 2 - 2

i think both were quite disappointing matches really. considering that bukit batok's team is younger than us and the other time we played nj in friendly, we won 7 nil. no wonder they were so happy =/

and cos njc lost to bb sec 3 nil, we entered into the plate rounds.

for those not in the know, the top 3 teams of each group of 3 enter the cup rounds, the next 3 into the plate, and the last 3 into the bowl. interesting way of grouping aye. why not forks and spoons i ask you.

plate round:

won innova 1 nil. improved (: first m1 tourn the game with them was quite exciting, cos both teams were taking turns to score until they beat us 5 - 4 =(

won acs international 2 nil. rawr, my teammates kept telling me acsi was around, and i got so excited, but for some reason i just couldnt recognise any of the players. then i realised -.-

i scored 4 tries, diana 1 (: yay us.

serena and juan? if that's how you spell her name, asked me how come i run so fast (((: which is such an encouragement, seeing how ive met with nothing but failure in the last few races of what i consider to be the end of my running life. so i just told them that i was in track, 400 and 800. but of course by sec3 i couldnt do 800 anymore, lack of stamina. least, 400 is more of a sprint so it was alright, and i hit my pb that year ((: and they were like, sure or not! wrong event lah. why not 100.

gee, i remember the first and last time i ran 100 indiv, was at my first sports day in bukit batok primary. i got fourth, and then i refused to admit defeat and pretended that i had a stomachache. which was true in a sense, cos it was a stomachache that i psycho-ed myself into believing that i really had and for a few years after that, actually believed my own lie. ish.

hahaha ohwell. at least we did quite okay at the tourns lah. ive yet to collect my medal cos i rushed off to city harvest, but yeps (:
