FUEL UP!

camp was totally awesome. realised that there are so many youth in my church that either i've totally never seen before or i just know them by face, it was like going to another church's camp altogether. pics here were all taken on the last day because the other two days i was lazy oops.

one of the highlights of the camp for me was praying for all the schools represented by our church youth.

i love sc.

prayed that my dream will become reality. i long to see netballers sitting in a circle on the court praying. i want to see the netballers being good role models for the rest of the school.

though the school badge might be the taoist symbol, our secular school will be transformed to become a Christian one.

that all the girls will truly be kimgeks and daughters of the most high God. that we will espouse the values of sincerity, courage, generosity, and service. that since the "nu zi" part looks like "hao" (sher's handwriting!), we will be a good school not just recognised for our academic or cca excellence, but also because we are precious, like jade and gold.

even as alumni, that we will continue to cherish our heritage and keep SCGS in our prayers.

for my new school. even though im terrified that i'll be kicked out when the o level results come in, may God's will be done =)

i want to make a difference there, really.

and i've been warned about the acsi guys. esp since the current ratio of guys to girls is 6:1, they'll swarm around you. open doors for you and everything, absolutely charming. ive been given three weeks to hold out. THANKS ALOT HAHAHAHA. but then i look at my brother, and at ping, and i wonder if we're talking about the same school =P

Keann =)

prayer walking at ngee ann! this is my group, PRAWN NOODLE. cos my group leader's name is stephanie SEAH. cool sia =D

yeah our weird pose is in reference to that really touching movie, facing the giants. i cried, aww. hahaha definitely recommended to watch. the part that touched me most was the death crawl. i learnt that even leaders need encouragement, and someone to go with them and inspire them all the way. and that even leaders have the potential to be developed, so they should not just focus on developing others but themselves as well. sometimes it is just your mind that stops you from being a champion, because in your mind you have already lost.

anyone can lead when he is strong. you are a true leader when you continue leading even when you are weak =)

and something else. It's not our job to convert them, it's our job to reach them. i just wanna thank God for putting my mind at rest about that issue.

after the camp everyone was still hyped up. went for service and worship was a blast. everyone jumping and screaming and just giving their all to God, it was a totally awesome experience. HALLELUJAH, this is what i have always wanted and prayed for my church. i know some churches think that charismatics are the falling away as talked about in revelations, but i just wanna challenge that idea. because sometimes even pastors, our shepherds, can be wrong. we have to test everything according to the scripture.

i dont think there is anything wrong with the songs that charismatics sing. one of the arguments put forth to me by a bible presbytarian was that this is all just hype, that we dont really mean what we sing but we're just carried along by the flow. but when you sing hymns, it doesnt mean that you DO mean what you sing.

also, king David danced for God in the bible. and his wife looked on in contempt. why? because he was being a fool in front of everyone. but like paul says, if i am a fool, i am a fool for God. im not sure where that verse is though.

i just wanna give God all the praise, BODY, MIND, SPIRIT. body would include physically dancing for God. mind would mean thinking about the lyrics that i sing, not just singing something so familiar it doesnt really register in my brain. and worshipping in spirit, in the tongues that i have been blessed with.

and i will continue to pray for my church, that our worship will never be the same again, and that we will always give our best to God.

people actually ran up on stage you know. alison tried to drag me with her up there but i didnt go cos i wasnt sure if pastor Jen's surprised expression meant good news. also there was so much floor space to dance on since alot of people were up on stage lol. the first time that the youth have actually lead the worship team =)

how can i keep from singing your praise?

how can i ever say enough?

how amazing is your love!

how can i keep from shouting Your name?

i know i am loved by the King,

and it makes my heart want to sing!

trembling at His voice,12:22 PM
You are worthy of our praise
