sermon was pretty interesting tdy =D

talking about the life of Jesus, and why there was a lapse in history from age 13-29 in the bible. remember that story about Mary and Joseph losing Jesus because he stayed back in his "Father's house"? yeah, i thought it was cute when p. Jen said that Mary and Joseph didnt only lose their son, they lost THE SON OF GOD HAHA.

who am i?

our identity does not depend on our track record with Man, but on our birth record with God.

the only thing that was special about Jesus til he was 12 and pulled off his disappearing stunt was his virgin birth. so according to his track record, he basically hadnt done anything special. who knew that at 30 years old he'd begin doing miracles?

also, think of a baby. when they're 2 and a half years old, do they tell their parents that "i've never walked before, so i can't"? likewise, just because you havent led a cell before, doesnt mean you cant do it.

sermon really spoke to me. history makers need to know your mission. right before that we were playing monopoly and uno during cell. novel ideas pris came out with to start us off with sharing thanksgiving and whatnot, really worked (: yup, we were supposed to put our markers on a spot on the monopoly board to show where we are in life now. so i put mine on the chance spot. with a big question mark. because i said my results didnt turn out as expected, and i have no idea where im going. either overkill sajc with the presence of my father, brother and me, or try ac. if not, i seriously have no idea where to go.

bern put her marker in jail and said she feels trapped and whatnot. im sorry for the girl, really am. i know ip's tough man, and seeing how i have come out of a normal secondary school special course barely surviving, i wanna thank God for giving my parents the wisdom not to let me go for ip, even tho at that time i was feeling really angry at not even being given the chance to try. ahaha joey, peifu ni la.

and the thing about knowing your mission really hit home when pris had a vision for me. she saw a winding path. apparently that's my life road. and so she prayed that i would not lose my focus and veer to the left or right. which reminds me that is entirely what my covenant is about.
