tdy was emelyn's last day! and zhen qiao, i got back the essay i wrote on the 3 things you'd give your friend who's migrating.and i realised i did none of the things for pau and emelyn.haha, i love crapping through essays and oral convos i realise. for my prelim oral, i was asked if i do adventurous sports.

me: no, i'm not very adventurous, but my dad might be taking us on a fishing trip sometime soon, cos my neighbour is a fishing enthusiast and he always brings home such great catches and even shares fish with us.

elaine lim: oh, so will you be going deep sea fishing or at a fish farm?

me: probably at a fish farm because my dad's a novice and he might get impatient when he doesnt catch anything at the sea.

EMELYN CHEW I SHALL MISS YOU BEARLY MUCH!

Its been 3 years man! And what a wonderful 3 years cos we always win relay =D=D I just want to thank you for all you’ve done for me, from running to baking to sitting beside me during physics when the rest were having pract, you’re lovely company. And you twitch when you sleep too, which is really cute =D

And I was so touched tdy when you ponned school t go shopping for stuff for us! But tsk you naughty girl (:

So this letter is just to tell you how grateful I am for our friendship, and also because I don’t want to have any regrets about never saying this to you before you leave.

I just wanna tell you, JESUS LOVES YOU! He died for you on the cross so that you can be reconciled with God. And because you are made in God’s image, you are fearfully and wonderfully made! So I hope that even as you’re preparing for your new life ahead, that you will really consider my words and take it to heart, cos honestly, this is the first ever time I’ve ever considered writing this kinda stuff in a farewell letter.so you’re special! (: I’ll continue to pray that you will accept Christ as your Lord and saviour. And it’s really easy! All you have to do is confess that you’re a sinner and that Christ died for you, and ask him to come into your heart.

There is more to life than what you have now Emelyn! And the meaning of life lies in Christ. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors, esp studies!

mm yes. and i must credit my cell leader for that stroke of inspiration.she was working for awhile at some bank, and when she left she wrote farewell letters to her boss and others i think, talking about Christ. and thats her boss! emelyn's my friend.so i dont see why i shouldnt do it as well.

and emelyn's farewell letter to me was purpliciously beautiful (: such a pretty envelope.

Dear Charlene,

before i leave, I just wanna say thank you for being such a great classmate, teamate and friend! I've enjoyed running with you although I'm (secretly) jealous of your RUNNING PROWESS. Thanks for entertaining me when I PON PHYSICS prac! Good luck for O's!

she got donuts for the whole class from the donut factory!! queued up for an hour. emelyn's the sweetest!! my donut had alot of jam on top.mm sugar high =D

and in history loretta suddenly called me from behind. i turned around and she said, i realised i havent talked to you for a long time!

yeah :(

but still, i feel loved.
