well, that explains why im delusional :P

but im not crazy posting up that video so that all my friends will turn anti-christ, its here so i can rebutt it.

first of all, disclaimer: i dont know everything.duh, just look at my report card.i know NOTHING.hahaha.

we live in the fallen world.

who says we gotta invent excuses for God man? its His will whether he wants to heal or to bless.

1.Why wont God heal amputees?
look i dont know about amputees, but amputees get no miracles from God? how would you know?

2.Why are there so many starving people in the world?
true, this qn is commmonly asked among christians as well.heres my take.the plight of the kids in africa seems to contradict matthew 6: 25-34
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear...Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?...So do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.But seek first the kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well..."

could their suffering be because they dont know God?they are helpless, yet they dont know who to cry out to.

3. Why does God demand the death of so many innocent people in the bible?
those who who work on the sabbath must die because that is the day consecrated for the Lord. working on that day would mean disobedience.and as with the disobedient teenagers, homosexuals and girls who are not virgins,it is all sin in God's eyes. God is holy, hence these people must die.and sheesh hello, even if you happen to think that homosexuality and sex pre-marriage is alright, doesnt the DISOBEDIENT in front of teenagers tell you that they are no longer innocent?? (altho that is scary. shudders.)

4. why does the bible contain so much anti-scientific nonsense?
science is the human way of trying to explain the universe, whereas the bible is God's word, and he is the creator of the universe, so uh, i'd rather believe the bible :D saves me frm physics anw.

and if you werent there at that point in ancient dinosaur history, how would you know God DIDNT create earth in 6 days? that noah's flood never happened? in fact i remember watching a documentary about people finding evidence that noah's flood did happen, and they used SCIENTIFIC evidence.hah.

5. why is God such a huge proponent of slavery in the bible?
no, im not really sure why God seemed to be such an advocate for slavery. but, it seems to me that this slavery happening in the physical world was mirroring what was happening in the spiritual world.everytime the israelites disobeyed God and became enslaved to idols, they were given over to the king of whatever pagan country.everytime they repented, God brought them right back out of slavery.and of course we know Jesus is the one to break the bonds of slavery and set us free :D

Galatians 4:8
"Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods."

Ephesians 6: 5-8
"Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ...because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free."

even slaves will have a reward.

6. why do bad things happen to good people?
well i guess the first biblical character most people would immediately think of would be Job.

Job 1: 8-12
Then the Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil." "Does Job fear God for nothing?" Satan replied. "Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face." The Lord said to Satan, "Very well, then, everything he has is in your hands, but on the man himself do not lay a finger."

after that his cattle, servants and family died, and he was left basically with nothing. he was an innocent man, yet the Lord allowed him to be tested by Satan.and one verse that is repeated in Job: "In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing."

7. why didnt any of Jesus' miracles in the bible leave behind any evidence?
uh, evidence? what more do you want, when the bible is evidence itself, in printed form in modern english, in every single country on the globe (i hope the smugglers are doing their job well in persecuted countries :D)besides, all those people that Jesus healed were walking testimonies of God's power, too bad they're all gone, and there were no video cameras in that day.

8.how do we explain the fact that Jesus never appeared to you?
hm the thing about Jesus appearing? hahaha on one hand, i would LURRRRVE that to happen, on the other hand, i might have a heart attack.i think God's saving my young heart for some great works in the future :D but then, why dont you expect Prophet Muhammed, Mother Mary and Buddha to turn up.

9.why would Jesus want you to eat his body and drink his blood?
When i'd just started out taking communion, i was 12/13 years old, and yes, i couldnt stand the part about drinking Jesus' blood and eating his body. But let me tell you that really makes alot of sense. Previously in the old testament, the israelites had to offer sacrifices to God. In the new testament when Jesus came, he took the place of the lamb to be slain for the sins of everyone, and he became the perfect sacrifice to perfect us imperfect people.

1Corinthians 11:26
"For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes."

so the drinking blood and eating body is in reference to the very real death of Jesus' death on the cross, which is why i suppose such "disgusting, cannibalistic, satanic" references are used.but this phrase is to symbolise that we take communion because Jesus became the sacrifice for us and died for us on the cross, and this ritual is done "in remembrance of" Him.

Only by confessing yes, Jesus died for us will we be saved.

10.what does the bible say about divorce?
Matt 5:31 - 32
It has been said, " Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce. But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery."

if you wanna ask why in the real world divorce rates are equally high for christians and non-christians, you might as well ask is America truly a christian nation this day. That country was founded upon christian principles, but over time those values were eroded and new laws were created, like abortion. which could very well be satan's way of trying to get rid of our more famous superheroes.

for eg: moses.
In Exodus 1,2, moses was born during a time when the king of Egypt ordered the midwives(1:16) "When you help the Hebrew women in childbirth and observe them on the delivery stool, if its a boy, kill him.."

under similar circumstances, Herod tried to use the Magi to find out where Jesus was to kill him.

its like satan knows that a saviour is about to be born and tries to get rid of him by ordering deaths.so in the present day, it translates to abortion.hmmmmm.

oh coming back to the divorce thing, maybe what im trying to say is that perhaps those werent REAL christians.christians who truly understand God's principles.hmm.
