cordin bleu!haha.he is so COOL.

God's really been speaking to me through devotion.This whole theme of New horizons for example.i use daily bread btw.the whole thing abt demolition creating the new horizon for reconstruction makes too much sense.

so the first reading on There's a problem! between you and a friend. so yes.didnt really come to mind that time but er yes.problems certainly.not just the current one.but brings to mind the time when i basically told another friend that losing this particular friend wasnt all that bad.am i CRAZY.

yesterdays one was like WHOA.hit me in the face.title is Still going strong?

are you growing in your love for the Lord? Are you still passionate about following his ways and obeying his commands?

maybe the questions might have been directed at me, but i started thinking of my previous cellmates.when my cell broke up, coupla them left the church.also, other friends.

Isiah 1
18 "Come now, let us reason together,"
says the LORD.
"Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.

21 See how the faithful city
has become a harlot!
She once was full of justice;
righteousness used to dwell in her—
but now murderers!

22 Your silver has become dross,
your choice wine is diluted with water.

23 Your rulers are rebels,
companions of thieves;
they all love bribes
and chase after gifts.
They do not defend the cause of the fatherless;
the widow's case does not come before them.

24 Therefore the Lord, the LORD Almighty,
the Mighty One of Israel, declares:
"Ah, I will get relief from my foes
and avenge myself on my enemies.

25 I will turn my hand against you;
I will thoroughly purge away your dross
and remove all your impurities.

26 I will restore your judges as in days of old,
your counselors as at the beginning.
Afterward you will be called
the City of Righteousness,
the Faithful City."

27 Zion will be redeemed with justice,
her penitent ones with righteousness.

so God's ppl used to be so good, but they didnt persevere.God's judgement may be harsh, but the purpose it serves is to purify us. and in His mercy He will forgive us.

Respond: Has your love for the Lord cooled recently? Do you need to hear the warning in these verses? Pray for the help of the Holy Spirit to keep you growing in your love and passion for the Lord.

well one thing ive particularly noticed is that whenever im angry i chuck bible study aside.cos im a proud person, i dont wanna say sorry, but you know theres the whole thing about if you wanna come offer a sacrifice and you remember your brother holds a grudge against you go make peace with him then come back to the altar right.so im really not willing to make peace and dont feel right coming before God that way, so i dont at all.

but one thing i thank God for is i dont stray that far away.my parents have done some great parenting in that sense because they inculcated this habit in me to turn to the Lord no matter what.we've use to have family devotions, until the time when my elder bro and me broke away.but still there is our personal devotion.true, you're not supposed to come to the Lord because you feel guilty for not having done bible study for a few days, but the good thing about it is that i come back.and once i do, our relationship is back to normal.

oh and joey and i were talking on the phone ytd, and she mentioned something about "stupid highs" aft camps or mission trips for that matter.and i agree it doesnt last, after a week or so life goes back to normal.but you shouldnt be discouraged, because theres this passage in isaiah that talks about running, flying and walking.haha sounds weird right.i just cant find it now.argh.

yes so the essence of that passage is why running, then flying then walking?basically those movements represent our spiritual walk la.the flying is when you're on a high.the running is what you're normally at.so i guess the walking is slightly cold?hmm.so what you're doing most of the time is alright.God doesnt expect you to be on a high all the time.actl i think that's basically impossible, because when we're back into the dolldrums of normal life its like oh, back to the normal boring routine.but of course, everything's possible with God yes? :D

and things are so COINCIDENTAL lately.like pearlyn smsed ytd talking about optimists and pessimists. and that pessimism is actl good because you prepare for the worst and you dont despair. well thats her (: ahhaha. and that is so not pessimism thats just preparedness -.- yes okay the coincidental part is today's reading - are you an optimist or pessimist?is the glass half full or half empty?what is your view of the future?

everybody say WOW.haha.

oh and joey said her church's been praying for revival.zhen qiao, my church ytd was talking about revival too.about how acsb back in the good ol' days had this revival just because they didnt have enough rooms and this group of students started meeting after school to pray and share on the those steps of theirs.the CLOCKTOWER revival.oohlala.

God works in mysterious ways, and i love to see it all come together :D

trembling at His voice,10:48 PM
You are worthy of our praise
